The four sliders

Run Options at default: every slider at 100% and a ×1.00 multiplier. Captured from wow.aethus.pl, v0.106.0, October 21, 2026. Game by Aethus.
OptionRangeWhat it changes
Enemy density100% – 500%More of the horde, each kill worth less
Enemy health100% – 500%Health of the horde, elites, guardians and bosses
Enemy damage100% – 300%How hard every enemy hits
Enemy speed100% – 150%How fast every enemy runs

The bottom line shows the resulting talent experience and boss loot chance multiplier, from ×1.00 up to ×2. The character screen shows "Normal difficulty" under the button while everything is at 100%.

When to raise them

  • Not on a new class. Talent points do more for survival than the multiplier does for progress until you can reliably reach the third boss.
  • Density first for area builds (Mage, Shaman, Warlock): more enemies feed area spells, though each kill is worth less.
  • Farming gear: the loot chance multiplier also applies to boss drops, so a cleared zone is a good place to turn it up.
  • Against the Odds (a Feat) needs a win with the Run Options at their full reward.

FAQ

Is there a hard mode in Azeroth Survivors?

Yes, through Run Options. You can raise enemy density and health up to 500%, damage up to 300% and speed up to 150%. Harder settings raise talent experience and boss loot odds up to ×2.

Does harder difficulty give more rewards?

Up to ×2 talent experience and boss loot chance. Past that the game says "the run only gets harder", so extra difficulty beyond ×2 is for challenge, not reward.
