Alterac Valley overview
Theme: The frozen valley wakes: troggs, wolves, ogres and the Ice Lord.
Trogg Tunnelers and Starving Frostwolves open the valley, followed by Winterax trolls, Crushridge ogres, Ice Revenants, Alterac Yeti Lords and Mountain Giants. The first zone with PvP-tier gear.
Alterac Valley bosses
Five bosses per zone, the last one is the zone's final boss. The character screen shows each zone’s timers once it is open; we list the order from the game data and will add timers after our own runs here.

The 12 regular enemy types of Alterac Valley, in the order the game lists them (roughly from the first waves to the toughest):

Besides the horde, every zone has elites, lair guardians that hand out jewelry when slain, battleground caches you buy with gold, and runes (Speed, Berserker and Restoration).
Alterac Valley loot
Alterac Valley drops PvP gear for the class you play. Each boss carries one piece, every piece rolls on its own, and a duplicate adds nothing. Gear is kept per class and its bonuses apply when worn. See gear and drop tables.
What to watch for in Alterac Valley
- Azuregos is the final boss. Lokholar the Ice Lord and Glacius the Frozen Titan come before him.
Clearing Alterac Valley opens Blackrock Mountain for that class. After a win you can also choose “Keep fighting (endless)”.
FAQ
How do you unlock Alterac Valley in Azeroth Survivors?
Kill High Inquisitor Whitemane, the final boss of Scarlet Monastery. Zones open per class: each class has to clear Scarlet Monastery itself before it can enter Alterac Valley.
Who is the final boss of Alterac Valley?
Azuregos. Killing it wins the zone and opens Blackrock Mountain. The other bosses are Korrak the Bloodrager, Ivus the Forest Lord, Lokholar the Ice Lord, Glacius the Frozen Titan.
What gear drops in Alterac Valley?
PvP-tier pieces for the class you are playing. Each boss has its own piece, and each piece drops on its own roll; a duplicate adds nothing.
