How talents work in Azeroth Survivors

Talents are the permanent part of a class. Each run pays that class talent experience: our 2:44 Warrior run earned 69 (33 for time survived and 36 for kills), and a 41-second Mage run earned 10, including a 1-point zone bonus. Bosses, wins, harder zones and the Run Optionsmultiplier add more. The first point arrives at 80 experience.

  • 51 points per class, spent in the Armory's Talents tab between runs.
  • Rows: a new row opens for every 5 points spent in that tree.
  • Milestones at 10 and 20 points and capstones at 30 change how spells behave. Each needs the milestone above it.
  • Three specs per class, and respecs are free, so it costs nothing to try a plan.

FAQ

How many talent points can you have in Azeroth Survivors?

51 per class. Points are earned with talent experience from runs; the first point needs 80 experience. Each class has three specs you can switch between, and respecs are free.

How do talent rows unlock?

A new row opens for every 5 points spent in a tree. The milestones sit at 10 and 20 points and the capstone at 30, so a capstone build spends at least 30 of its 51 points in one tree.

Why do some talents say X?

The game calculates those numbers from your rank. The calculator shows the wording from the game; point at the talent in the Armory to see its exact value for each rank.

Can you take both capstones in a tree?

No. Where a row offers two milestones or capstones (Warlock Soul Devourer or Soul Link, Pact of the Annihilan or Butcher, Druid Dire Bear Form or Cat Form) you choose one. The game shows "You already chose…" for the other.
